Power banks are lithium batteries, so they must be in the cabin where a fire can be handled. Watt-hours = mAh × 3.7 ÷ 1000 for most units; 20,000 mAh ≈ 74 Wh (fine), 27,000 mAh ≈ 100 Wh (the limit). Unlabelled banks may be refused. Since 2025 several Asian, Gulf and European airlines require power banks to be kept in the seat pocket or under the seat (not in overhead bins) and ban charging devices from them on board — check your carrier.
