TSA officers don’t search for drugs but must report cannabis to law enforcement if found. Products meeting the federal hemp definition (≤0.3% THC) and FDA-approved medications are permitted. Anything else is illegal on the plane regardless of state law. Abroad, CBD oil has led to arrests in the UAE, Singapore, Japan, Thailand (depending on THC content), Russia and elsewhere. Liquid CBD also follows the 100 ml rule.
